The West Platte Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO) is a non-profit group dedicated to supporting our students, teachers, and community while fostering active parent involvement.
OUR MISSION – “Enhance learning. Show appreciation. Build Community.”
- Enhance Learning: Provide supplemental educational materials and classroom experiences.
- Show Appreciation: Recognize and celebrate our dedicated teachers and staff throughout the year.
- Build Community: Promote parent volunteerism and host events that bring our Blue Jay family together.
WHAT WE DO
- Support Our Teachers & Staff: We provide supplemental classroom materials and teacher appreciation initiatives throughout the school year.
- Host Community Events: We organize and support memorable school traditions including Haunt the Halls, Family Bingo Night, and the Spring Fling.
GET INVOLVED & JOIN US!
Every West Platte parent, guardian, teacher, and staff member is invited to collaborate for the well-being and success of our children – you choose your level of involvement. Whether you volunteer for one hour at a PTO event, join a planning committee, or something in between – the time you invest makes a huge difference!
MONTHLY MEETINGS
Meetings are led by our elected Board of Directors, working alongside member committees and school liaisons to coordinate all organizational and financial efforts.
- When: First Monday of each month at 6:00 p.m.
- Who: Open to all West Platte parents, guardians, teachers, and staff
- Where: Blue Jay room located in the District Administration Building
